Dear Church Family,
We had a wonderful time of worship yesterday! Eighty-two of us gathered in the fellowship hall for singing, praying, testimonies, a message, and Holy Communion. Special thanks goes to everyone who helped set the fellowship hall up for worship. We will continue to meet in the fellowship hall for worship on Sundays at 9:00 am (CST) until further notice.
The fellowship hall is set up during the week as a mess hall to feed line workers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The City of Blountstown has contracted a food truck to prepare these meals. If you are interested in volunteering to serve the prepared food, please contact me.
The church office is closed until further notice. If you need pastoral care or you need to contact me, please call me at the parsonage at 850-674-4115 or email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org. I check my email and voice mails at the house regularly. All weekly activities at the church are suspended until further notice. Tina will update choir members about when they will resume their Wednesday evening practices.
The group from Mobile, Alabama, that planned to come and do yard work did not come today. Some of you gave me your names to have your yard cleaned up and I continue to maintain that list. I have also shared them with the pastor at First Baptist Church since he mentioned to me Baptist disaster was sending in chainsaw crews. If you gave me your name, please update me when your yard is cleaned so I can keep updated records. Thanks in advance!
Remember, church family, take one day at a time, one step at a time, and know that Jesus is with us as we do. Let your light shine to others so that they can see Jesus in you!
With You on the Journey,
