When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, He told them to, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”(John 11:44) Paul tells us to take off our old self and put on our new self in Christ; to take off our grave clothes and let our old self go. Now that we are cleansed by our baptism in Christ, submit to the Holy Spirit and let Him take control of our lives.
